Outreach

Join us in continuing to support and uplift communities across India, while advocating for the safety and well-being of vulnerable groups.

Our Outreach Work

IREF partners with a network of trained community outreach workers who serve families and children in rural and underserved areas around Repalle, Andhra Pradesh. Traveling regularly—often by foot or bicycle—they build relationships, provide mentorship, support child development initiatives, and assist local programs, including those connected to IREF’s Child Development Centers.

Despite challenges in these communities, our outreach team remains dedicated to strengthening families, encouraging youth returning from IREF’s campus, and enhancing their skills through ongoing training. Today, approximately 250 outreach workers engage with more than 400 towns and villages within a 200-mile radius, extending educational resources, guidance, and community support to children and families who might otherwise lack access.

Community Development & Local Gatherings

IREF’s programs help communities come together and grow stronger. New participants often begin meeting in homes for learning, discussion, and shared activities that promote personal growth and community connection. As these groups expand, IREF supports the creation of simple local meeting spaces, eventually helping to establish larger facilities where communities can gather more fully. Small groups of five have grown into thriving communities of over 100, with many individuals developing skills and confidence each week.

Let us know if you are interested in supporting the establishment of new community programs in villages that have not yet had this opportunity.

Community Development Programs

Each year, IREF hosts a community training program to support participants from youth initiatives and local outreach activities. The program offers learning, skill development, collaboration, and personal encouragement, while recognizing the efforts of staff and field workers serving rural communities.

Participants come from many areas to attend workshops and discussions on leadership, personal growth, and community support. Staff and volunteers carefully prepare materials and logistics to ensure attendees receive practical resources they can use locally.

Selected sessions are recorded and shared on television across India, extending access to educational content and information about IREF programs. These broadcasts often lead viewers to connect with IREF for support or involvement.

IREF also hosts one-day seminars across India to equip local leaders with tools, training, and encouragement for their ongoing work. Through these initiatives, IREF continues to strengthen communities and promote positive development throughout Andhra Pradesh.

Community Facilitators & Outreach Team

IREF’s dedicated team of community facilitators commit full time to serving and supporting communities across rural India.

More than 200 outreach team members travel by bicycle or on foot to remote villages, providing educational resources, literature, and guidance to help communities grow in knowledge, values, and personal development. They support local initiatives, offer mentorship, and encourage community-led programs that foster learning and connection.

Your contribution helps support IREF’s training programs, leadership workshops, and youth conferences in Repalle. These gatherings bring together local leaders and community members to share insights, celebrate progress, and provide encouragement. Once a year, the Repalle team travels between villages with a mobile setup—including a tent, generator, sound system, and food—to host events that strengthen community bonds and support local leaders and participants.

Television Outreach

IREF records messages from its Sunday gatherings, conferences, and retreats and shares them through television broadcasts across India, offering encouragement and spiritual guidance to viewers. In partnership with Subhavaartha (“Good News”) TV, our morning program Jeevaharam (“Bread of Life”) reaches an estimated 80 million people across India and has recently expanded to 175 countries via satellite distribution. Television serves as a powerful tool for inspiring hope, sharing positive values, and extending the reach of IREF’s ministry.
