Giving children a chance to succeed in life.
IREF's beginnings trace back to helping children off the streets.

There is an overwhelming need for a safe place for these kids. In some families, there is not enough to support one more child. In other instances, children are abandoned or sold into slavery or prostitution.

IREF breaks this self-perpetuating cycle by providing children with the basic necessities of life; food, clothing, shelter, health-care and an education.

You can help out too! Many children are sponsored by individuals like you. For a mere cost of a cup of coffee a day, you can "change the life of a child" in India!

One of IREF's first orphans was a young girl named Stotarani. Her father left the family and she was abandoned by her mother. She was left alone to live and beg on the streets. Initially, children were cared for in the home of Prasada Rao and Lydia, IREF's founders before the construction of a permanent facilities.

Above are some of the children that are being cared for by IREF.
